Digiarty is currently running a free giveaway offer on 2 of its Apple software products. MacX Video Converter Pro, normally $49.95, is free until 9th June. It's an all-purpose video download and conversion utility, including DVD ripping. And if you're willing to share the news of the giveaway on Facebook, you can get another product for free too. MacX iPhone iPad DVD Ripper, which lets you convert DVDs to play on your Apple phone or tablet, is normally $39.95.
Not being a Mac user, I have not been able to test either of these programs. However, we've featured products from Digiarty on this site many times before and have not had any reports of problems. And although I have not been able to run the programs, I've downloaded and virus-scanned them both, and VirusTotal found no problems.
