A new delivery-on-demand service Postmates [1] is launching in Boston tomorrow, Wednesday, July 2, 2014. The service connects customers with couriers to deliver anything (takeout, prescriptions, groceries, dry cleaning, beer, etc.) in under an hour and is available on both iPhone and Android devices.
The initial delivery zones are Downtown, Back Bay, North End, South End, South Boston and Cambridge but will be expanding to other Boston areas shortly after the launch.
To celebrate their launch tomorrow, Postmates is offering FREE LOBSTER ROLLS from Yankee Lobster Company on Wednesday, 7/2/14 starting at 11 a.m. for those in the delivery zones. (Limit one per customer, while supplies last).
Simply download the app and the promotion will be featured on the home screen of the app (Yankee Lobster) then place an order for the lobster roll and the entire order is freeâ€" delivery too!
In addition to the free lobster roll on 7/2/14, Bostonians can get free delivery for the first two weeks after the launch. Also, the first 500 people who download the app on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 and make their first purchase will receive a free $25 in delivery credit added to their account.
