MyEchain, a loyalty card app for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod has released an update for their rewards card app on the Apple App Store. New features include enhanced barcode technology to render all types of retail store rewards cards directly from your iPhone. This loyalty card app for iPhone also now gives you the ability to show barcodes horizontally on your phone. This allows you to show your iPhone to clerks at retail stores and allows them to more easily scan your rewards card directly from your iP-hone.
This app still boasts a trifecta of apps all-in-one. The core features includes all the functionality for barcode scanning, QR code scanning, and of course digitally storing your loyalty and rewards cards on your phone for scanning at retail and store locations.
The new features of the app build upon the convenience of the app by making it even easier than it was to get your card scanned in quickly and from a further distance using a scanner in store. The new bar code rendering combined with a horizontal orientation across the length of the screen truly make a seamless experience for the consumer using their phone as well as the clerk easily scanning in the rewards card from the iPhone.
And they can use the MyEchain app worry free since all of a consumer’s cards will be saved on their phone and backed up in the cloud in case they lose their phone or need to reset their phone’s software. Not only are consumers cards backed up in the cloud, they are securely stored with a LOCK and password pin feature for additional safety.
