Spreadsheets are a great alternative but when it comes to be on-the-go it’s not really something you can carry along with you in your purse or your pocket!
If you are an on-the-go kind of person but want to make sure that each job you do gets billed promptly and professionally then this is definitely an app you should consider! When you first load the app for the first time you’ll be asked to enter a new user login. This is a simple and easy process. From there you can start creating invoices. To create a new invoice simply click on the “Invoices†section and click the plus sign located on the top right. From there just fill in some simple information such as your company name, customer email, invoicing information and the products and services you’ve completed and save it!
Sending the invoice is very easy, the date is automatically filled in for you so that’s one less step you have to do! Another great thing about the invoicing section is that you can attach receipts to your invoice as well. At first I wasn’t quite sure what to expect so I made up a fake invoice and mailed it to myself. It was delivered very quickly, it was in my inbox in seconds and it was a detailed invoice. Fill in as little or as much information as you’d like and keep the record saved on your phone for easy viewing at anytime!
If you’re a contractor or someone who provides estimates then this is also very easy to do and simple steps can get you going in no time! Another great feature is that once you enter your company name once you won’t have to re-enter it each and every time you create a new estimate or invoice! Estimates are a great way to let your clients know in advance about how much your services are going to cost so no one goes into the transaction blindly.
If you have multiple customers you can save them in your customer list. This makes it easy for those clients that you work with often so you won’t be required to reenter their information each and every time. If you charge your clients tax you an even manage the tax rates in your “Manage Accounts†section.
Overall, this is one of the best free iPhone apps [1] for invoicing! You get a free two week trial with the free version and it’s only $5.00 a month after that! So, if you’re like me and very busy and always on the go then this is definitely the invoicing app for you. The user interface is easy to follow, it has all of the functionality that you could possible need from an invoicing system and I am definitely going to be telling my friends and family about this one!
