iMovie update for iOS fixes issues with photo cropping

iMovie-iOS

Apple has rolled out an update to iMovie for iOS to fix an issue that could cause portrait photos to be cropped incorrectly. The version 2.1.2 update comes one week after iMovie for OS X Yosemite received a fix for random crashes .

The issue caused photos taken in portrait mode to be displayed incorrectly when imported into an iMovie project, spoiling home movies. But this issue is now fixed, and Apple has improved compatibility with sharing to YouTube, too â€" just like it did with iMovie on the desktop last week.

Despite just small fixes, this iMovie update weighs in at 616MB. It’s a free update via the App Store for those who already own the iMovie app, or a $4.99 purchase for new users. You can get it by following the link below.
