Best Jailbreak Tweaks of the Week (September 8

Every week we go through all the jailbreak tweaks that were released and provide you with the best ones that we think you’ll want to check out. This week is no different. Today we have 4 tweaks that you’ll either want to check out now or keep your eye on in the future. So without further ado let’s take a deeper look into CSwitcher, Radiate, VolumeStatus 2, and Faces.

CSwitcher â€" Free

cswitcher

This tweak includes the app switcher directly into the Control Center. It also has a major resemblance to the original Auxo from iOS 6. You have a few options to configure in the settings, like have 4 or 5 icons shown, paging, and either icon theme or app card theme. One thing to keep in mind is that this tweak can possibly increase the amount of time it takes to launch an app if you have too many apps running in the background. But, it’s free so check it out!

Radiate â€" $0.99

radiate

Here we have a tweak with potential. It has quite a few options to configure and looks to have a promising future. It adds a glow to the perimeter of the app icons on the springboard and it actually looks pretty good. The only problem (it’s a big one) is that it lags all animations horrendously and for that reason alone, it’s not worth the download. But, I still wanted to mention it because with a possible future update, this could be a good tweak. If it does end up getting updated, I’ll be sure to give a full review on it.

VolumeStatus 2 â€" Free

volumestatus2

This is a simple tweak that puts a volume indicator into the status bar. When you change the volume, either within an app or through the Control Center, the indicator in the status bar will reflect the current volume setting by the number of wavelengths coming out of the speaker itself. If you turn the volume all the way down, you’ll get a speaker with a line through it to show that the volume is muted.

Faces â€" Free

faces

This is my favorite tweak this week and it allows you to assign pictures to the passcode buttons on your passcode screen. You can either put faces (which is what was intended) or any picture that you’d like. If you want to get rid of the numbers and letters over the pictures on the passcode screen, then just download SimplePasscodeButtons and you can remove it within the settings.
