Apple shares are at session highs ahead of the company's latest iPhone announcement.

As of 12:20 pm ET, Apple shares were up more than 1.7% to just over $100 per share.

Apple is expected to announce its latest iPhone at an event in Cupertino, California expected to begin at 1:00 pm ET.
