Alongside iOS 8 beta 5 and OS X Yosemite DP 5 , Apple also released a new Apple TV beta software update that brings a redesigned interface and icons with an updated look.

The redesigned interface includes new icons that have a flatter look as well as a thinner font, both changes that are in line with Apple’s modern design language seen in iOS 7 and OS X Yosemite. The icons for TV Shows, Music, Computers all have new colors, as can be seen in the photo anove.

The last Apple TV beta added Family Sharing and iCloud Photos to the set-top box, making it compatible with iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite devices. Apple is also reportedly planning on adding Handoff and Continuity features to the Apple TV in future software releases.
