App attack: WeChat conquers iPhone… Whatsapp, Skype, BBM all under threat

WeChat is now reported to be the second-most downloaded free app by iPhone users in the UAE and threatens to overtake Whatsapp, Skype and even BBM.

According to app tracker App Annie, the app is number two among the free app downloads from Apple’s app store.
