Make Fully Orchestrated Songs « iUseMac – For the best deals on Mac apps

Seoul, Korea, Republic Of â€" Inervit Corporation today is pleased to introduce Dr. Smith’s MusicFactory 1.1 free for iOS, its remarkable melody maker app that creates a fully orchestrated song. Beginning musicians supply the basic notes using a virtual keyboard, or their own voices, or shaking the iDevice. After a series of notes is input, the app generates a professional-sounding song, complete with rhythm section and chord changes. Composers can save their newly made tunes or share them via integrated email, Facebook, Twitter, Kakao Talk, or MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service).

Feature Highlights:
* Advanced AI lets beginning musicians create fully orchestrated songs
* Three easy input methods: Touch, Voice, or Shake
* Finished songs can be erased, saved, or shared
* Tap the Discover button to hear songs created by others around the world
* Create an original musical gift and send it via Twitter, Facebook, or email
* Perfect for musicians of all ages, parents, family, and friends

While designed for beginning musicians, mom and dad will certainly find the magic this app performs to be breathtaking each and every time they hear it. A cartoon character maestro with wild hair and a small moustache, Dr. Smith guides the user through every step of song creation. First, he asks “What mood?” with two different choices available, Sweet or Funny (a free download). Second, users choose from one of three methods of inputting the basic notes: Voice, Shake, or Touch.

Young composers can sing words or tones, hum, or whistle. Notes can be of any duration, but the MusicFactory will “write out” the music to create the best sounding song. The Shake option generates semi-random tones that are always a surprise. If Touch input is chosen, a row of seven Dr. Smith characters form two octaves, with his hair playing the high note and his body reproducing the same note an octave below. Users can experiment as long as they like before touching the Tap to Record button. A virtual music staff fills to indicate the recording process, which lasts about five seconds.

As soon as recording stops Dr. Smith gets to work, and in seconds the song is finished. First time listeners will be shocked to find that the Doctor has created a musical phrase from the notes provided, followed by several more phrases, which are variations on the theme, and which progress to a satisfying musical resolution at the end of about 35 seconds. But this is not a simplistic music box playing; rather, it is a virtual musical combo, comprised of a full drum kit, outstanding electric bass, Hammond organ supplying lush chord changes, and electric piano on lead. There is substantial AI at work, and the results are usually far better than anyone could have imagined.

“Send a friend, lover, or family member a beautiful song that you composed yourself,” stated James Lim on behalf of Inervit Corporation. “Even if you have no musical experience or training, Dr. Smith’s MusicFactory will make your song sound great!”
