iPhone 5 Features: DisplayMate Says It Has The Best Smartphone Display Ever | The APPera

Apple raved about how much better the colors are on the iPhone 5 display, and it looks like their claims hold true. After an extensive analysis from DisplayMate [1] , they’ve conclude that it’s the best smartphone screen they’ve seen.

Particularly, they point out that the iPhone 5 has less screen reflections, and higher image contrast, than other phones.

Based on our extensive Lab measurements the iPhone 5 has a true state-of-the-art accurate display â€" it’s not perfect and there is plenty of room for improvements (and competitors) but it is the best Smartphone display we have seen to date based on extensive Lab measurements and viewing tests.
