How to export Nokia Contact to other Phone : Free Download Softwares

The transfer of contacts from your old phone to newly purchased phone is the matter of primary concern. Our essential contacts need to be transferred to our new phones to m ake it usable. Otherwise, our new phones, in spite of having all the attractive new features, will become useless while we need to call someone. Now it is not possible to manually enter all the phone numbers one by one in the phone book. There are some easy means that can be comes in handy while in use. Here, some simple methods for transferring the contacts from one phone to another are discussed for some of the popular brands only.

Transfer of contacts using SIM: This process is particularly suitable for the smaller size of the phone book. For a huge number, of contacts, this process will not work as the SIM will be flooded with the contacts.

For enabling the process, just copy the contacts from your old phone to the SIM and then use the SIM in your new phone. Thus, you can export contacts from one phone to another.

Export contacts using a computer: The export contacts mechanism using the SIM will not work for the larger phone book, contacts including larger names, email id etc. For such contacts, we need particular software and a computer as a medium. There are many providers for such software in the market. Mobile providers like Nokia, Samsung, Black Berry, iPhone etc have their own sets of interfacing software to communicate with the computers. For instance, Nokia uses OVI Suite, interfacing software which helps the contact from a Nokia phone to copy in Microsoft outlook. Then we can copy it to a BlackBerry phone using the Desktop Manager software. Similar software for Samsung Galaxy is Kies and tunes for iPhone.

The users of the Windows mobile have the provision to use Microsoft’s Device Center to copy the contacts from the mobile to the outlook. If the export contacts are being done between two Windows mobile, it can conveniently be done by using Microsoft’s My Phone service.

BitPim utility is used for the older CDMA based mobiles to copy the contacts in a special v card format. The format can easily be imported into Outlook and other contact managers.

Export contacts using the internet: For internet enabled phones, the contacts can be transferred by using several online services like Mobicals. Mobical is a free service which is helpful to send phone books from one mobile phone to another by storing the contacts in the clouds. The receiving mobile phone will also download the contacts from the cloud on successful settings of Mobical in it.

Google Sync is a service offered by the Big G. This service also uses the concept of using the cloud computing to export contacts from one phone to another phone. For that purpose, Google Sync needs to be installed in both the mobiles.

Android phones have the flexibility to get synchronized with the Google. Nokia is the most common name in the world of mobile phones. Nokia offers many PC suits and other connectivity utilities to share the contacts among the phones so as to you are for all time in contact with your nearby and dearest ones irrespective of the hardware.
