Facebook Messenger Now Available To Download Overseas

Facebook Messenger Now Available To Download Overseas

Facebook’s recently released messaging application, Facebook Messenger, is now available to download overseas. The free application is a dedicated messaging app, which allows users to access their Facebook Messages and Facebook Chat on an iPhone or iPod touch, and receive push notifications when a new message is sent to them.

I’ve been using the application for some time now, and like it. If you’re looking for an online, free messaging application to use on your iPhone, Facebook is the one service most people are connected to – this application offers an elegant means of sending and receiving Facebook Messages on an iPhone handset, and is not unlike the built-in Messages app itself.

As outlined in the app’s release notes, features of Facebook Messenger include:

  • Send messages instantly to other friends who have Messenger
  • Chat with friends who are on Facebook
  • Get free push notifications for incoming messages
  • Reach friends via text message if they don’t have Messenger yet
  • Create group conversations for making plans on the go
  • Add more friends to group conversations at any time
  • Attach photos and location to messages
  • Control alert settings for each conversation

If you haven’t yet downloaded Facebook Messenger, take a look at the application now. As mentioned, the app is currently available to download in the App Store for free.
