Egencia [1] has launched a native version of its Mobile app for the Apple iPhone [2] . The app features flight schedules, an itinerary tool, flight and destination alerts and an online check-in service for all major airlines.
The itinerary tool pushes information to the traveller so that it shows flight information on the way to the airport and hotel information when they land. The alerts service includes information about flight delays and cancellations, natural disasters, security issues and weather
The app, built for Egencia clients, is downloadable free of charge at Apple’s App Store [3] .
The company will soon release new versions of Egencia Mobile [4] for users of BlackBerry [5] , Android [6] , and other smartphones.
