Helius 2 brings new media controls to your iPhone's Lock screen

If you’re looking for a new look for your lock screen while you’re playing music, then you might want to check out Helius 2. Not only does it give you a cool interface for your media controls, but also dynamically changes up your background. Let’s take a look!

Helius 2 is a newly updated tweak that will give you something new to look at and interact with while your playing music and on your lock screen. If you haven’t found the perfect music lock screen then take a look below.

This tweak is a revamp of the original Helius. So if you’ve purchased the original tweak, then this is a free upgrade for iOS 8, otherwise it’s $1.00. There’s not much set up for this tweak. Once installed, if you go into the settings there are 2 toggles, 1 to enable the tweak, and the other to enable the dynamically changing wallpaper.

As you can see the wallpaper changes dependent upon the album artwork. It takes the artwork, blows it up, and blurs it out. It actually makes a good uniform look on the lock screen in my opinion. You can of course turn this off if you want your original lock screen in the back ground. This will work with a lot of 3rd party apps as well, such as Spotify, Pandora, etc.

The only problem I have with this tweak is that notifications are put behind the media controls, so there wasn’t a way of implementing a hiding feature to go through your notifications. Otherwise this is a nice looking tweak.

Here’s a walkthrough of the tweak below:
