Firefighters battling a house fire on an island in Waterford have called investigators to the scene.
The fire was reported this morning on Fox Isle Drive. Several additional ambulances were called to the scene after firefighters arrived.
WISN 12 News reporter Tim Elliott confirmed that a person died in the home.
Fire officials said an 88-year-old man with mobility issues was found dead on the second floor of the home.

Neighbors said the man recently celebrated a birthday.
"I go over there every year and give him a big kiss on the cheek," Nancy Torngren said. "He was a very nice man."
Investigators said most of the damage occurred on the second floor. They continue to look for the cause of the fire.
