The Apple Store iOS app, which recently got updated to support the Apple Watch , has received yet another update.

On Thursday, May 21, Apple officially updated the Apple Store iOS app to version 3.3, which brings with it new security features. The first of which is support for Touch ID, the fingerprint-based security measure. Previously, when the Store portion of the app was accessed, to view orders and the like, the user would have to input their Apple ID password every single time. Now, though, Touch ID can be utilized to access the information.

On top of that, two-step verification has been added to the app as well. Here’s the full changelog:

    What’s New in Version 3.3
  • Use Touch ID to view orders, access EasyPay receipts, and make reservations at an Apple Store.
  • Support for two-step verification, giving you extra security for your Apple ID.

The app is free, and a link to download it is below.
