How to Download Music from SoundCloud to Your iPhone

Today, most people subscribe to a music subscription service to get their hands on the latest tracks from their favorite artists. Services like Rdio and Spotify allow users to enjoy their favorite songs through streaming. SoundCloud is less of a music subscription service and more of a music discovery area and social network. Every day, thousands of members add songs and bits of audio that they simply can’t get anywhere else. When you have an internet connection, it’s great but strictly speaking SoundCloud for iPhone doesn’t allow users to store songs for playback offline later.

To unlock the music you’ve discovered on SoundCloud and save it for later, you’ll need to download a separate app. Here’s how to download music from SoundCloud to your iPhone for listening later.

Open SoundDownloader from the home screen on your iPhone. If you have more than one page of apps you’ll need to switch to the first home screen with an available slot to find it.
