Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch free apps daily  include an entertainment adventure, printing utility, tower defense game, and workout app. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.

Star Wars Journeys: Beginnings ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): An entertainment adventure that covers the prequel trilogy of The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. There are over 15 scenes of 180 degree panorama art mixes with mini-games tied to each of the films. There’s podracing, strategy battles, and arena battles.

Printability ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): A focused utility app that lets you print any webpage in Safari straight to PDF to then be sent on to your computer, a colleague, or a printer. The app uses iOS 8 extensions to let you access printability right from the share sheet menu in Safari, and you can preview and make adjustments before printing.

Pirate Legends TD ($3.99 -> Free, Universal)Â [ Review ]: A tower defense game set on the high seas, that is instantly familiar because it has a set very similar to Kingdom Rush. You could essentially call Pirate Legends TD, Kingdom Rush High Seas due to the similar set-up that only essentially differs with the pirate theme. Each level is set-up with specific points to place towers, and multiple water pathways for the enemies to flow in on. The intricate fixed path level design is just like Kingdom Rush, so is the fact that there are four tower types with extensive upgrade pathways. Pirate Legends is packed with strategy, and requires constant attention thanks to the difficulty level, and rechargeable power-ups at your disposal.

Gym Machine ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone): A workout app that lets you personalize your routine with custom routine of specific muscle focus. It’s easy to take notes of each day’s progress, and then view the progression over time with various charts. The focus is on letting you create a personalized workout routine with suggested exercises based on the parts of your body you want to work out.
