1. Phhhoto for iPhone

The Phhhoto [2]  app for iPhone [3]  takes a series of photos in quick succession and stitches them together to make a selfie gif. Besides being Katy Perry and Diplo endorsed, the app is pretty bare bones with just two filter options. Except the two filters "Daze" and the black-and-white "Solo" are pretty much perfection, giving your selfie gifs a grainy, old school vibe that blurs out any imperfections. You can post your Phhoto selfie gifs on the ap p's Instagram-like feed or share them via text, email or Twitter .
