Download Vines to Your Camera Roll with New 'VineDownloader' Tweak

Twitter’s Vine has quickly become one of the biggest social networks around, featuring 6-second video clips of anything from hilarious comedians to kittens â€" you know, internet stuff. But there’s one downside to this popular app: You can’t download any of those videos, no matter how funny or cute you think they are. They’re stuck in Vine normally, but a new tweak called VineDownloader changes that.

After you install the tweak, there’s not much to set up. When browsing your Vine feed as per normal, you can tap the share button to bring up a menu containing a new option: Save video. After you tap this, you can browse over to Photos.app and find your newly-downloaded video in your camera roll. From there, simply share the video on Facebook (something you can’t do via the Vine app anymore) or elsewhere with no strings attached!

If for some reason you want to disable the tweak, you can do so from the Vine Downloader menu in Settings. Vine Downloader is available right now from the BigBoss repo in Cydia for just $0.99.
