Free apps of the day - Bean's Quest, KooZac | Free iPhone Games news | iPhone

Good news, folks: Pocket Gamer is partnering with the Free App Alliance [1] in order to highlight some of the App Store's best free apps every single day.

As we always say, prices in the App Store change frequently, so be sure to grab these freebies before you miss out on a top bargain.

As always, feel free to inform us and your fellow readers of any other great free apps in our comments section below.

Bean's Quest

Bean's Quest is a retro-style platformer in which you take on the role of Emilio - a poor sap who's been transformed into a lowly jumping bean by some unfortunate dark magic.

Your aim, then, is to hop your way through five worlds and 50 levels en route to rescuing your lovely girlfriend, who's been kidnapped by a ruddy ruthless baddie.

At review, the Android version of Bean's Quest bounced its way to a glittering Silver Award, so be sure to grab it while it's free.

KooZac

In this Bronze Award-winning Tetris-esque puzzler, you're tasked with positioning falling blocks on top of each other in order to create a variety of target numbers.

KooZac was a browser game, but it has since been fully updated and re-imagined for the iPhone and iPad.

It features three different game modes. Those are Puzzle, which tasks you with destroying silver blocks across 60 levels; Endless, in which you compete against other players from around the world for high scores; and Blitz, which is a special 60-second mode.

Download both games now, and be sure to grab the best free apps every day via the Free App Alliance app [2] .
