Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps for free daily include a to-do list app, news app, abducting game, and racing game. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. TeuxDeux ($2.99 -> Free, iPhone): A simple and straightforward to-do app that offers base lists on a white background for a clean and clear focus on your to-dos. You can cross of items, easily drag items between days, and simply swipe to view your to-do list on different days.
MustKnow News (Free, iPhone) [ Review ]: The app focuses on the 10 biggest stories of the hour, and it’s updated every hour. Some stories can be supplanted, while others are worthy of staying throughout the day. It seems most news apps are like a fire hose with everything blasting in your face, while MustKnow News is like a controlled garden hose.
Sheep Abduction ($0.99 -> Free, Universal): A creative arcade game where you tilt to control an iPhone to use your tractor beam to abduct sheep. You will also need to use lasers to get rid of specific obstacles like wolves, vultures, and windmills. There’s limited resources throughout to deal with in your sheep abduction.
Monorace ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone): A 2D side scrolling racing game where you ride futuristic unicycles. In each race, you simply tap the screen to switch from racing at the top or bottom of the screen to avoid all kinds of obstacles across 40 levels as well as an endless mode.
