iPhone and iPad App Deals

Today is Black Friday and retail stores aren’t the only ones offering massive discounts for you to get your holiday shopping started with a bangâ€" app developers are also using this as an excuse to offer deals on iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps.

Navigation apps are often the most expensive ones in the App Store because of the map data they requires (getting and updating map data for the millions of miles of roads in countries around the world is not a cheap endeavor) but many of the big name brands in this category have reduced app prices this weekend. TomTom has knocked $20 off of many of its offerings and Garmin/Navigon has gone big by knocking 50% off its iPhone apps for today only.
