How to download free google books as pdf and read on iPad

You can download google books as pdf files and read them on your favorite reader such as iPhone/iPad/iPod or even in Amazon kindle by using free software: GeoReader and Calibre.

First application you need is GooReader.

GooReader is a desktop application that allows you to read Google Books and books from Google Play online and offline, add Bookmarks, create a local Library and save books to PDF. You can search inside a book by clicking on the button in the reader control panel.  You can download it from GooReader [1] site or from Cnet [2] .

Of course first You’ll need to sign in to your Google Account to access Google Books and manage your Library.

 After you download your ebook as a pdf file into your hard disc,  then transfer the file to Calibre. Calibre  [3] is free and open source e-book computer software that organizes, saves and manages e-books, supporting a variety of formats. It  works on Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. It can convert various file formats to major e-book formats.

Then you can sync the file to e-book reader devices such as iPhone/ iPad or kindle. Calibre convert pdf into ebook reader formats. Then you can transfer this file to iTunes, calibre will automatically convert the e-book to a format suitable for the device before sending it. Then you can read books using an app such as iBooks in your device to read it.
