VoxSciences Extends the UK’s First Free Voicemail-to-Text App to Android Phones — Virtual Assistance Professional

The latest release of VoxSciâ„¢ incorporates Android phone support, calendar and dialler integration

London, UK: VoxSciences (www.voxsci.com [1] ) is today launching its Voicemail-to-Text, VoxSci™ app for Android, providing a free and innovative way of accessing and managing voicemails.  This launch comes just weeks after the successful release of VoxSci™ for the iPhone. For the first time, iPhone and now Android users across the UK can download this free Voicemail-to-Text App to revolutionise their Smartphone voicemail.

Ken Blackman, co-founder and CEO said, “We’re really pleased to be making our VoxSci™, voicemail-to-text application, available for Android users. Its great to be adding to our consumer offering with the launch of our free, voicemail-to-text Android application so quickly after our service went live for the iPhone. I encourage both iPhone and now Android phone users to visit their App store today and download VoxSci™.  Here at VoxSciences we are committed to taking our successful voice-to-text services direct to the end user.”

In addition, to the release of VoxSci™ for Android phone users both the Android and iPhone applications now have additional features to enhance the user experience.  VoxSci™ allows users to add dates from within their voicemail transcriptions directly to their calendar by simply clicking the date.  Alongside the calendar integration, VoxSci™ enables users to call and store numbers within their voicemail transcriptions by tapping the screen, eliminating the need to find a pen!

How does Voxsci work?
VoxSci™ is a free iPhone and Android application, which allows users to read and therefore, search, their voicemails. VoxSci™ is available to download now from the App Store or Android Market. The service is activated during the registration process, which only takes a minute, replacing the user’s normal mobile operator voicemail. From this point, VoxSci™ will answer all incoming calls if the user is not available to answer their phone.

Once a message is left, VoxSci™ then automatically pushes the audio message and text transcription directly to the mobile App and to the user’s registered email address should they wish. This means the voice message can be read or played within the mobile App, via email as text or via an mp3 attachment.

VoxSci™ is simple to install and works with a user’s existing mobile phone number and operator, meaning there is no requirement to change numbers.
