Including WeatherBug to Your iPhone

As you probably already know, the iPhone is one pf the most innovative of mobile phones today and it stands in for a computer with facilities like web browsing, the capability to run various applications and also to store multimedia. When you purchase an iPhone there are many applications that are preloaded into it, and there are other applications (Some free and some at a cost) that you can download and install in your iPhone. The WeatherBug is one such free application that is very useful. This application can also me utilized in an iPod Touch. The WeatherBug offers live on the spot streaming of the climatic conditions anywhere in the US. The application consists of its own systems that can give the user a whole week’s or hourly predictions about the weather and you also receive information from the National Weather Service (NWS). There is also the option to see radar maps that can be zoomed in if necessary and the user can see up to five on the spot weather cameras.

Listed below are the steps required to include the WeatherBug to your iPhone.

  • To install the WeatherBug application on the iPhone you would first have to download it from the App Store. The App store can be accessed straight from your iPhone or via iTunes using your computer.

In order to download the application directly into your iPhone, you would have to click on the icon of the App Store on your Home Screen. In that go to Categories and choose Weather from it. Now select the WeatherBug app and download it.

If you are downloading the WeatherBug through your computer, you would have to first load iTunes on your machine and go to the iTunes store. In the iTunes Store, choose and click on the image of App Store and select Weather from the list given there. Alternatively you can even enter the term WeatherBug. When you get that click on the icon and start the download. Check the applications tab again by going to library and ensuring that the WeatherBug application is there. Now to include the WeatherBug application to your iPhone you will have to link the computer to your iPhone. Choose Applications from the home screen of the iPhone and then from there choose the ‘sync applications’ option.

  • Once the WeatherBug app has been installed in the iPhone you can avail of the application by just a single tap. For this, you will have to include the WeatherBug icon to the Home screen by going to Applications and dragging the icon of the WeatherBug to the dock. After it is seen on the dock, you would have to drag the icon to your Home screen placing it wherever it is convenient for use.
  • The WeatherBug application helps you access up to ten locations for weather forecasts, so you can select the locations that you would generally like to check the weather for. The place you set up first will automatically be the location that you would be viewing whenever you try accessing WeatherBug when you enter the ZIP Code or the name of the city.

You also have the option to check weather predictions in any city across the world and are one of the most useful applications especially if you happen to be one of those [people who has to do a lot of travelling.
