Bandsintown Brings No. 1 Free Concert Tracking App To Android Devices

Upon installation, Bandsintown scans a userÂ's music library and Facebook Likes to automatically populate their Tracked Artists page. (The app can also pull data from last.fm and Pandora for more accurate results.) Users can then see when their favorite bands are coming to town in a variety of ways, including the Concert Cloud, which graphically emphasizes shows they might be more interested in, and the Tonight tab, which lets users browse recommended shows by date. Once they find a concert to attend, they can RSVP directly from the app, purchase tickets, and share the event with their friends.
