Scratchers is a pretty easy concept, load the ticket and swipe your finger back and forth to scratch it. The game starts with one type of scratch ticket called Lucky 7. Simply rub your finger back and forth to reveal your prize. At first the chances of winning are pretty slim to none, but that’s pretty typical of a real ticket, right? The more you play, the better your odds of winning are. While not everyone can be a winner it certainly helps to satisfy your scratching needs. Loading the app each day gives you more money to purchase new tickets, not real money of course, but should you be swiping your finger till you can’t swipe anymore, there are in-app purchases that allow you to purchase more tickets.
You can get 20 credits for just 99 cents and 70 credits for $2.99. You can get up to 1900 credits for a fee of $49.99, is it worth it? You tell me. This game is pretty addicting however I don’t usually have the money to blow on lottery tickets since my odds of winning are pretty slim. This is a great alternative for being broke and still getting the same scratching feeling.
The sound effects for this app are pretty cool. Winning more coins will allow you to upgrade your card to something better and sometimes you win, sometimes you loose, but that’s just the name of the game. You need to match three like numbers and then find the hidden multiplier. You can win so many times the actual amount. For example, should you get three 50’s then you will win 50 coins but once you select the multiplier you could get one, two, three or more times that amount. You may end up with a multiplier of two giving you 100 coins, instead of 50. The more you win the more you can upgrade and the better your odds of winning.
This isn’t exactly a game that you would want your kids to play so it’s not appropriate for all ages. It’s not graphic but it is in the line of gambling, in a fake sense, of course, if that makes any sense at all but it’s nothing something little kids should be doing, at least not in my opinion.
However, this game is awesome for adults, its fun, it’s addictive and it’s just like real gambling without the real gamble. I am able to keep my money in my wallet and still get my scratching fix. And it’s very lifelike in the sense that you win some, you loose a lot, so it’s better that it’s free, right?
