Relax, Android users, you now have your own free NASA app [1] . NASA's iPhone and iPad app has been a huge success, with over five million downloads so far. Not surprisingly, the agency has been besieged with requests to create an Android version. The app showcases a huge collection of NASA content, including images, videos, on-demand and live video from NASA Television, mission information, and breaking news.
Android owners can also use the app to find sighting opportunities for the International Space Station and track the current positions of spacecraft currently orbiting Earth Of course there are social features: the app lets users share NASA content with their friends and followers on Facebook and Twitter, as well as via email. Download the free app today and check out the last Shuttle countdown clock.
