It was hard to find some iOS [1] applications gone free for this week-end. Not because there aren’t any available, but the good ones are always very scarce. We’ve managed to get a couple of them and remember that they are available only for a short period of time. These are for your Apple [2] ‘s iPad [3] , iPod touch [4] and iPhone [5] .
CandyChase: remember the Sega game [6] Frogger? CandyChase is a similar version of the hey-days Arcadia game. Here you also have to cross lanes of traffic…not cars but ladybugs. As you cross to the other side, you need to pickup some candies. Not an easy game. It normally sells for $2.99.

GolfBounce: was released a few days ago and it’s currently free. Its developer though said that soon the game will cost the usual buck.
You have a golf ball, drop it on a bouncing platform that you’ve adjusted to the right angle, and while the ball is in the air control the wind, try to get some rings and pot the ball. GolfBounce is a nice game, easy to pick up but on the hard side to play. Very nice graphic and nice concept.

Gyroscope Toolbox HD: works only on iPad. It’s a portable gyroscope surface level that doesn’t need any calibration or adjustment. Simply place it on a surface to find out if you’re leveled or if you are hanging up a picture properly! $1.99 if you miss the gratis.
