Meet the cutest little blobs you have ever seen. One of them loves you, the other one hates you. And then there are the other ones …
A puzzle game of the highest calibre, About Love, Hate, and the Other Ones is a tremendously stylish experience featuring two dark blobs that can either send love or hate as a method of interacting with their environments. You’ll need to move both around each level and carefully choose how you want to interact with the “others†so that you can make your way through the levels to the end.
There are several kinds of others that you’ll encounter, including a teleportation blob, and mastering the effects of your actions on each will be crucial to navigating the 60 current levels. It’s early impossible to fault this game, which is a rare and welcome recommendation â€" play it, share it with your friends, and enjoy.

The folks that brought us Gravonauts have been hard at work on their newest game, and it’s been well worth waiting for.
Infinite is a captivating and enjoyable space arcade title that defies explanation with its brand new gameplay mechanic. With one-touch controls, you manipulate the orbital distance of a shiny ring, circling around a sun, and must collect matter in an effort to build planets and form complete solar systems. Of course, antimatter gets in the way, sometimes actively so when you encounter some of the more sophisticated baddies. The game’s galaxy map evolves as you play, and procedurally generated levels ensure that gameplay never gets old.
Even so, Nexus Game Studio has decided to build in several game modes as well as a few different unlockable goodies like art styles and the incredibly fun Survival mode â€" plus there is no IAP nonsense to tarnish the experience! Mixing precision with a peaceful pacing and gorgeously minimalistic art, Infinite is a stellar experience that should not be missed.

If the developers of this game sound familiar, it’s because the folks from atebits brought you the mighty Tweetie client that Twitter itself later appropriated.
Reborn and refreshed, atebits has just released its first new production: a wonderful word game called Letterpress. This super social title is an asynchronous multiplayer experience like Words With Friends, but dispenses with the point system in favour of a more strategic system that requires you to selectively colour letters and outmanoeuvre your opponents to score. It’s one of those games that becomes easy to grasp once you’ve played a round, but keeps revealing hidden subtleties.
The lack of single player is understandable given the game’s intentions, but the occasional weirdness that Game Center’s matchmaking presents leaves something to be desired. Nothing that a few maintenance updates can’t fix though, and if you’re into word games then Letterpress is currently my favourite.
Moody and monochromatic, Chasing Moonlight is an interesting platformer that combines the art style of Limbo with a character reminiscent of the ancient but excellent iOS title Splode.
Though structurally simplistic, Chasing Moonlight is captivating and favours polish over flashiness. The controls ask you to hold in a direction to move and tap to jump, which feels elastic and responsive once you get used to how it reacts. The obstacles include saw blades and other mechanical hazards, but somehow the atmosphere keeps things from feeling too threatening.
If you’re after a platformer with style and no frills, Chasing Moonlight is a good bet.

What would happen if you mixed a crossword puzzle with a dungeon crawling RPG game? Genius is what. This is Crossword Dungeon and it is incredible.
Once you’ve picked your class, as in most RPGs, Crossword Dungeon starts you off by introducing the gameplay: completing procedurally generated crossword puzzles, where each letter is guarded by a monster. You earn more experience as you complete words in each stage, and levelling up grants you new abilities.
Though there are some inconsistencies in the game’s word definitions and stability, Nolithius, the developer, is extremely responsive to feedback and has some excellent updates in the pipe. Crossword Dungeon is amazingly refreshing, very fun, and features just enough retro charm to win you over.
