While rebellious Bay Area punk heroes Green Day are currently cooling their jets as frontman Billie Joe Armstrong recuperates in rehab after his outburst [1] at a recent radio show, the band is making sure their fans are still being served.
Thanks to the bandâs ongoing relationship with legendary sneaker company Converse, Green Day has released a limited edition ¡UNO! branded Chuck Taylor All-Stars, emblazoned with the albumâs graphics and printed laces. The shoes retail for $60 and are currently available on Converse.com [2] .
To coincide with the rad footwear, the Converse website is also hosting a brand-new live version of ¡UNO! single âOh Loveâ for free download. But like the Green Day shoes, the track is something of a limited edition, with only 20,000 free downloads of it available to the public. So Green Day fans will want to grab it sooner than later. Chop chop, Greenies!
