It has been kind of slow lately for free apps as developers are busy updating their apps for iOS6. If you haven’t updated to iOS6, you may want to because of several features which include Guided Access. With Guided Access you can lock students into an app by disabling the home button or you can lock certain buttons on an app. Also Speak Selection now gives you the option to have words highlighted as they are spoken. It is a free update. You can only update to iOS6 on the iPad 2, the new iPad. iPhone 3GS and newer, and iPod Touch devices bought after Sept. 2010. It does take a while to update.
