While nothing is official just yet, itâs very likely that Apple will announce a brand new Apple TV set-top box at the companyâs media event on September 9.
Leading up to that date, though, weâve already been privy to plenty of rumors out of the Rumor Mill, boasting plenty of high-end expectations for the next iteration of the more-than-a-hobby Apple TV. That includes reports that the new set-top box will feature a refreshed user interface , and that Siri will be a major focus for the box when it launches in October for (probably) under $200 .
As sometimes happens, someone has been kind enough to put together what they think that aforementioned UI will look like by way of a series of concept images. This time theyâre from Andrew Ambrosino, who posted several different looks at the new interface, including what Siri might look like, how the App Store will showcase new things to download, and more.
The concepts are certainly nice to look at, and if Apple does indeed implement something thatâs anywhere near Ambrosinoâs envisioned future, that will be a nice upgrade from the current generation aesthetics.
Are you looking forward to the new Apple TV?
