Recently, Pixelmator updated its Mac app to support Apple’s brand new Force Touch trackpads, giving even more control to the editing process.
Now, Pixelmator has confirmed that the iPad app is getting an update soon, and with it, iPhone support is on the way. For professional and amateur photographers that love the editing process, Pixelmator will bring desktop-class editing tools to the smaller display on the iPhone. It will have all of the features that are baked into the iPad app, which is good news all around.
On top of that, the developers are adding new features for good measure. One of them will take advantage of Apple’s Metal graphics technology, called the Distort tool.
As for when the update will land, the developer hasn’t said just yet. For those that haven’t picked up Pixelmator yet, it’s available now for $4.99, a 50% discount from its normal pricing. A link to the app is available below.
