Sharing important moments and events via social media is fun, but it’s difficult to do so in moderation. Plus, you can’t always control who can see what you’re sharing or when you share it.

dripthat [2] is an innovative new iPhone app that gives users a whole new way to create and share photos and videos in “drips”.

Developed by dripthat, LLC [3] , the app features extensive control over content, awesome editing tools, and a cool new way to share important moments with friends, family, and the world.

Concept and Functionality:

dripthat is much more than a photo app, it’s a social networking app that allows users to create drips of content and have ultimate control over what they share. Drips can include photos and short video clips, which is something that’s not only awesome, but quite unique.

I really like the fact that dripthat is easy to navigate, especially for first time users. Setting up the app is a breeze and there’s even a brief tutorial that helps walk you through the basics of the app.

Best of all creating drips is super easy, and you can do so on the spot or by uploading media from your camera roll.

When it comes to social networking and sharing, dripthat definitely has its stuff together. I know of many apps that try to do the same thing, but none of them come close to the feature-rich options in this app.

Plus, the concept of “drips” is pretty neat, as it means you’re less likely to overload friends by uploading a bunch of photos and videos at once.

dripthat comes with plenty of awesome features to make your social networking experience even more awesome. For example, the app supports control over who your content is shared with, when it’s shared, and much more.

You can even protect drips from being saved/screen-shotted.

Also, dripthat comes with built-in editing tools so you can tweak everything before you share it with the world. Even if you don’t feel like sharing with everyone, the app offers an unprecedented amount of control over your drip’s audience.

As with most social sharing apps, users can easily communicate and interact with each other in dripthat. From liking photos to sharing public drips and leaving comments, the app definitely inspires social interaction.

Value:

dripthat is available to download from the App Store for free and is designed for iPhone. When it comes down to it, this app is a fantastic standalone social network that offers unique ways to share photos and videos with friends, family, and more.

Plus, I really like the fact that dripthat offers tons of control over media. I highly recommend checking out dripthat if you love sharing moments with the world and you’re looking for a cool new way to do so.
