Last month, Apple and HBO teamed up to launch the exclusive HBO NOW channel for the Apple TV. The Cupertino company was offering customers with a free 30-day trial before they could subscribe to it.
That promotion has expired today though, and new customers now get a much shorter trial period of only 7 days. At the end of the 7-day trial, a paid subscription to the channel will automatically begin unless cancelled by the user themselves.
HBO Now is exclusively available on the Apple TV, iPhone and iPad for $14.99 per month. The channel gives Apple TV owners access to all of HBO owned TV shows and movies.
The channel was announced by Apple and HBO at the formerâs âSpring Forwardâ event in March .
Apple is expected to unveil a new Apple TV at WWDC this year with its own dedicated App Store, Siri and more.
