Amazonâs Instant Video app has been one of the more popular video apps in the App Store, especially for Amazon Prime subscribers.
However, a major drawback up until now has been a lack of HD streaming, and, perhaps more specifically in a pinch for some customers, the ability to stream a video over the userâs cellular connection. All of that is changing in the appâs latest update, which brings the version up to 3.0.
With this update, users will be able to not only watch videos in high definition, but they will also be able to stream videos while theyâre connected to their mobile network. The app will now let users control their download quality settings, as well as manage the mobile data usage as well. Hereâs the full changelog:
Watch videos using your mobile data plan
Control your mobile data usage settings
Control your download quality settings
Watch videos in HD
The app measures in at 34.8MB, and the update is available now. Do you use Amazonâs Instant Video app?
