Todayâs iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch free apps daily include a photo manager, quick action puzzle game, minimalistic note taker, and photo effects app. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others arenât worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Flic ($2.99 -> Free, iPhone) [1] : A photo management tool that lets you clean up your camera roll with a flick. Your photos are presented to you in a stack, and you simply swipe right to keep, and swipe left to delete in a fashion similar to the dating app Tinder. The app lets you sort by particular months, and it sends reminders to free up space.
Pile ($0.99 -> Free, Universal) [3] [ Review ]: A puzzle game that includes matching, and stacking with some fast paced timing. The game is a bit like Dr. Mario as you need to send two piece blocks down into the grid to create matches, and clear existing blocks off the board. Pile takes the style up a notch as youâre given four two blocks pieces on an individual turn, and you have just seconds to place them all. If there werenât time limits, the game would be a bit bland, but w ith time limits, methodical decisions can go out the windows, and instead thereâs frantic pacing.
Monote ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone) [5] : A minimalistic note taking app that lets you simply open the app, and start typing out notes. The app includes a top bar added to the keyboard with buttons for quick entry of bullet points, bold text, line breaks, and more. You can also categorize your notes into notebooks, and create shortcuts for particular notes.
iColorama S ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone) [7] : A photo effects app with deluxe effects not seen in other apps including escher, tiles, hatches, glass, and more. You can combine effects, change colors, adjust presets, and more. Thereâs a ton of features at your disposal accessible through a clean interface to power changing up your photos.
