Amazon Music app updated to 4.0, now features ad-free Prime Stations with unlimited skips

Amazon Music

Amazon’s had a music app for quite some time, but the latest update may make it a bit more enticing for Prime subscribers that haven’t given it a shot.

The Amazon Music app’s latest update pushes the version up to 4.0, and was released on Monday, March 23. With it, the tentpole feature is brand new “Prime Stations.” With these specific stations, Prime subscribers will have access to ad-free stations that also offer unlimited skips, too. This is a bit different from other free radio stations in music streaming apps, which only offer a few amount of skips, and plenty of ads.

The latest update will also bring personalized recommendations on Prime songs, full albums and playlists. The app has an updated design, too, which Amazon says will offer better browsing.
