*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Kingdom Rush Frontiers ($2.99 -> Free, iPhone) [1]  [ Review ]: A fixed path tower defense sequel that extends the greatness of the original, but positions the battle in the wild. There is tons of action that is surprisingly fast paced for the genre, all while maintaining layers of strategy. Itâs such an immersive experience that is so easy to pick up, but so hard to put down as every move matters. Thereâs just so much to enjoy with great care put into the brilliantly designed map layouts, difficulty curve, gameplay balance, tower upgrade paths and placements, and constitution of each enemy wave.
Kingdom Rush Frontiers HD ($4.99 -> Free, iPad) [2] : The iPad version.
Splashtop 2 Remote Desktop for iPhone & iPod â" Personal ($2.99 -> Free, iPhone) [4] : The app connects to your Mac or Windows computer on your iOS device from anywhere you have an internet connection. Now the big question is what makes this app different from all the rest, and the answer is speed. It just may be the best remote desktop available, and definitely is the best bang for your buck in the App Store. Splashtop Remote Desktop is a must buy for the price with a brilliant inter face, and improves the capabilities of your iOS device without having to give up anything.
Cloud Knights ($1.99 -> Free, Universal) [6] : An action combat game that lets you use swipe controls to move your weapon, and consequently your character in physics driven action. There is a 60 level campaign, in which your choice of weapon is important, since the only way to control your knight is to swing your weapon left or right and use it for leverage. Thereâs a fantasy theme, as well as modes for versus, co-op, and survival.
Gridplay ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone) [8] Â [ Review ]: The app offers up a completely unique video recording set-up that lets you capture multiple videos together. Gridplay splits up your camera into a grid, and from there you can choose different pieces of the grid to merge together to record different bits of film. You can split the screen in up to 16 d ifferent bits, and then simply drag over squares you want to merge together to capture unique shapes.
