Apple is offering the popular Tetris-like game Shades for free through its App of the Week program. The “simple puzzle game†is already being highlighted by Apple in the “Best New Games†category.
The game is usually priced at $1.99, but you can download it for free for the time being. As explained by its developers, Shades is a “mesmerizing, calming, zen-like experience that quickly evolves into a devilishly challenging puzzler.†The game has very simple rules and features three modes: Easy, Medium and Hard.
If you are a fan of Tetris or the massively popular game 2048, you will absolutely love Shades. The game is a blend of these two games and features intuitive touch controls that make it a breeze to play.
