Free Office and new apps for Android and iPhone
In a surprise move, Microsoft has just made its Office Suite, totally free for all mobile users. This means you no longer need a subscription to Office 365 (usually $ 99 per year for a family pack, or $ 70 for a single user or $ 9 / $ 7 per month, respectively) to be able to use Powerpoint Excel and WordPress on our iPad, Android tablet or iPhone.
Along with this announcement, Microsoft introduced a new app for Android tablets and iPhone. The Android version is still in a “Preview†and not available to the general public, but the app is identical to that presented in the iPad several months ago.
