Great-looking artwork and metadata for your media files
Mezzmo extracts all the artwork and text metadata (such as title, artist, album, genre, year, description, actors, directors) from your media files. It also extracts artwork and metadata from popular external metadata files such as movie.xml, mymovies.xml, series.xml, ThumbGen TGMD files, XMBC NFO/TBN files, folder.jpg, folder.png, {filename}.jpg, {filename.png}, Samsung MTA chapter files and Sony .modd files.
Mezzmo also automatically retrieves poster and backdrop artwork and text metadata from the online movie and TV show web sites. Click here for a list of supported external metadata files and web sites.
All popular file formats supported + powerful transcoding and pre-transcoding
Mezzmo supports all popular video formats, music formats, image formats and subtitle formats. Click here to view the video, music, photo and sub title formats that Mezzmo can read, stream and transcode.
Mezzmo can transcode audio, video, image and subtitle files on-the-fly so that they can be played on your UPnP and DLNA-enabled devices. No extra codec packs or extra downloads are necessary. Transcoding can be very CPU and memory intensive, so Mezzmo's multi-threaded transcoding has been optimized for both 64-bit and 32-bit processing depending on your operating system.
Mezzmo can also pre-transcode your files before you stream them to your devices. Perfect for fixing stuttering issues when you have an underpowered computer that cannot transcode on-the-fly fast enough. Perfect for fixing FF/REW/pause issues when you have UPnP or DLNA devices that do not provide full play features for transcoding files. Perfect for mobile devices that only support MP4-based file formats which cannot be transcoded and streamed in real-time
