T-Mobile iPhones get WiFi Calling with iOS Beta 3

TMo WiFi Calling

Back in early of June, T-Mobile USA confirmed that they would be a carrier to support WiFi Calling for their iPhones running iOS 8. For anyone who has been waiting for the feature to show up on devices running iOS 8 , the wait is over â€" if you’re running iOS 8 Beta 3, that is.

New things get revealed when Apple seeds out new software, and this is no different. In fact, this is just one of many new features brought to the public’s attention with third Beta being released. With this latest find, those who are running iOS 8 Beta 3 will be able to access T-Mobile’s WiFi Calling feature, which means they will not have to be connected to the network’s cellular network to make or receive calls.

Accessing WiFi Calling is easy. Simply head into Settings â€"> Phone â€"> Wi-Fi Calling. Just toggle the option on, and you’ll be able to make calls over your WiFi network. This is a feature that’s reserved for T-Mobile subscribers, though, so if you’e on another network you won’t be able to access the feature. And, obviously, since this is a beta of iOS 8, it’s not publicly available just yet.
