Let's say I've been using it nonstop for 5 hours...so is my battery life ok?

Again it still depend on a lot of factors, screen brightness, what apps where you using during those 5h, where you on wifi, 4g, 3G or EDGE? Or where you in airplane mode all those 5h? How are the mail settings, location service settings, spotlight settings etc...
However, 5h of non stop usage is great.
