The capybara is probably the most adorable rodent to have ever existed (sorry Guinea Pig). It looks like a mix between a squirrel and a rabbit, but it is about the size of a pig. Kapibarasan is probably the most adorable character ever to be created in Japan (Sorry Hello Kitty). Today, Namco Bandai launched a new app that might be the most adorable match-three game to every appear in the App Store.
Kapi-Bara-San Kapi Crunch [1] is a match-three puzzle game staring the adorable rodent in its various character forms. Whether the little guy is brown, tan, pink, or white, his cute, fat face peppers the screen with is funny little animated expressions.
The free game is a basic match-three puzzle with a timed element. Players try to earn the highest score possible within the one-minute time period. If you match more than three tiles in a row, a special bonus item will appear. At the end of the level, those items will trigger actions that will increase your point score. You can replay the game three times within 12 minutes. After that, you’ll have to upgrade if you want to play again before the 12 minutes are up.
For $0.99, players can upgrade to the full version, which includes the ability to clear stages by making blocks disappear. Winners will unlock secret prizes, like Kapi-Bara-San art. The upgrade also unlocks hard mode and timeless gameplay.
