This week’s free App of the Week is Tiny Firefighters by Wonderkind, available for download from the App Store. It will be free until next Thursday when it will revert back to being a paid app.

Tiny Firefighters is an interactive storybook, so aimed at kids and ideal if you have an iPad. Here are some of the features:

Fire department stories and adventures involving fighting fires as well as saving, rescuing and helping people and animals.

• The cute cow is stuck: get her out of the pond using the crane truck
• The pussy cat has got stuck up the tree: rescue him and bring him down again
