Apple today released a minor update to iTunes, bumping its version number to 11.1.5. The update improves compatibility with iBooks for Mac and fixes a bug that could cause iTunes to unexpectedly quit.

The update fixes a problem that may cause iTunes to quit unexpectedly when a device is connected and improves compatibility with iBooks for Mac on OS X Mavericks.
The update is available from the Updates tab in the Mac App Store or from Apple menu () > Software Update. You can also directly download it from Apple’s iTunes download page [1]  for both Mac and Windows.
